DMX began rapping in the latter part of the 1990s. He debuted his debut album It's Hot in the year 1998 and Hell was Dark May 19,98. The other albums he released were... and There was X, the Great Depression Year of the Dog... Again the Redemption of the Beast Gran Champ Flesh of Flesh Blood of Blood. His album titled ... and Then There Was X was also nominated to win a Grammy for the Best Rap Album category in 2001. Apart from his rap activities, he has also been featured in films like Lords of the Street Belly Top Five Exit Wounds Will Never Die Alone The Bleeding Romeo Must Die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
